Galantamine, also known as Galantamine, is a white or yellowish crystalline powder. Odorless, bitter taste. Melting point 127 ~ 129℃, [α]D20-118.8°(ethanol). Soluble in ethanol,, Chemicalbook chloroform, insoluble in benzene, water. After reaction with ammonium molybdate solution, it is steamed in a water bath, and sulfuric acid is added to show blue-green color. The bulbs of Lycoris purpurea were extracted and refined with ethanol and chloroform under different acidity.
