Myrrh oil is an essential oil, colorless to yellow viscous liquid, with a balm smell like burnt wood. Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol. After treatment with bromine gas, mixed Chemicalbook turbidity, red and purple velvet precipitates. The main ingredients are dill aldehyde, m-cresol, eugenol, cinnamic aldehyde, pinine, Ramie, sesquiterpene, palmitic acid and so on.
