2-methox y-3-methylpyrazine (also known as methyllarone) is an organic compound .from a-carbonyl

compound and alanine condensation system.

Appearance: Metolone is colorless to light yellow crystal or crystalline powder.

Solubility: It is not easily dissolved in water, but soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and chloroform.

GB 2760-96 provides for the purpose of edible spices. Mainly used to prepare hazelnut,

almond and peanut flavors.

Usage Limit:

FEMA(mg/kg): soft drinks 0.1; Cold drinks, jelly, pudding, meat products, meat soup, 0.2;

Candy 0.5; Baked goods, cereal products, 1.0.
